Here’s another great little video from the VW Life guys who head out with a crowd to In-N-Out Burger for their monthly VW Night. Gary chats with Rachel and gets to know a bit more about her love of classic Volkswagens and in particular her 1973 Super Beetle called Ethyl. I think it’s fair to say that Rachel is an inspiration to young and old alike. She uses her VW Bug as her daily drive and is learning to work on it herself so she can keep it rolling without relying on others. Rachel describes herself as having an old soul and has been obsessed with Volkswagens since falling in love with Herbie in The Love Bug films when she was a kid. Watch the video to see why she called her Beetle Ethyl – here’s a clue, it’s to do with the color and being an old car.
